Kayaking Adventure in Baylands - No Experience Needed!

Join the De Anza College Outdoor Club on Sunday, Oct 13.

Join the De Anza Outdoor Club for a fun kayaking adventure on Sunday, Oct. 13! Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the water just 16 minutes from campus. The club provides all kayaks and equipment, and the cost is more affordable than renting elsewhere.

No special training is required—these kayaks are easy to use and more like open canoes, so everyone can join in the fun! This trip is designed for first-timers, but experienced kayakers are welcome to join and introduce their friends to the sport.

If you still have questions after reviewing all the information, please feel free to contact Mary Donahue at donahuemary@fhda.edu for further assistance.

AlimHighlights of ISP Students

Alim Kham, an international student from Kyrgyzstan, achieved a remarkable feat by winning the bronze medal at the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association (NCTA) tournament hosted by the UC Berkeley Martial Art Program.

Alim proudly represents De Anza College on a national stage, standing out as the sole community college participant among teams from Ivy League and other prestigious institutions.
