Mobility Services is a courtesy service for students with verified permanent or temporary disabilities that make walking long distances across campus difficult. Mobility services are scheduled exclusively to and from classes based on the confirmed class schedule on file.

You must be a DSPS student at De Anza College taking at least one in-person class. Learn how to become a DSPS student and apply now!
How to Arrange Mobility Services
- Meet the eligibility criteria above
- Schedule an appointment to meet with a DSS Counselor to request Mobility Services and call 408.864.8838
- Submit the Mobility Services Agreement Request via Adobe Sign or via PDF form and send copy of your class schedule to thompsonnita@deanza.edu
Mobility Services Policy
- You must be currently enrolled in classes to receive Mobility Services
- You must provide a copy of your class schedule and email the driver to develop a schedule
- Scheduled students receive priority to classes
- Shuttle service to special on-campus appointments or activities must be prearranged and only available when the regular class transportation schedules permit it
- The student must be at the designated area and be ready at the prearranged time
- It is the student's responsibility to notify the Mobility Services Driver as soon as possible if they will not meet a regularly scheduled pick up as scheduled at (408) 864-8838. Failure to notify three (3) times in a quarter may result in suspension of their mobility service
- If your class finishes early, call Mobility Services and wait at the appointed location
- It is the student's responsibility to inform Mobility Services if changes occur that affect their service needs
- Services may be provided for emergency situations, such as after a fall, wheelchair malfunction, unexpected heavy rain, etc. Subject to availability
- Seat belts and ties-down are to be used at all times and safety instructions are to be observed
- Services may be delayed or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., mechanical issues, driver unavailability).
