Internships and More Opportunities
Designing Creative Futures: Paid Internships in the Arts
Interested in pursuing a career in the arts? Designing Creative Futures provides formerly
incarcerated individuals with paid internships with some of the leading arts organizations
in California. Internships are individualized to meet participants’ artistic and career
interest. Interns will get $20 per hour for up to 20 hours a week, monthly transportation
stipends, guidance, mentoring and on-the-job training from experienced artists and

Underground Scholars: Paid Leadership Training
The Underground Scholars program at the University of California, Berkeley, is accepting
applications for their Ambassador program, which provides paid opportunities for leadership
development training to community college students who were previously incarcerated
or otherwise affected by the justice system. Applications are due by June 7, 2023.
