Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Support Group

This is a shared space for Asian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander-identifying
students led by mental health interns from De Anza's Mental Health and Wellness Center.
The group will teach various skills and is focused on creating a safe and welcoming shared space. Come meet and connect with others while receiving support in maintaining physical and mental well-being!
Circle of Resistance - Spirit of Solidarity (Support Space)

Circle of Resistance, Spirit of Solidarity is a virtual support space for anyone who
is navigating through the current climate impacting our immigrant families and communities.
Through focusing on ancestral/collective wisdom, and solidarity, we can relieve isolation,
find strength, and foster resilience. In this series, we will experience practices
and share tools to stay healthy in our Heart, Mind, Body, and Spririt. Come join us
in this virtual circle of community via Zoom! You will be meeting with Alejandro Ruelas-Mora

“Círculo de Resistencia, Espíritu de Solidaridad” ("Circle of Resistance, Spirit of Solidarity") es un espacio virtualde apoyo para cualquier persona que esté sobrellevando los efectos del clima actual que afecta a nuestras familias y comunidades inmigrantes. Al enfocarnos en solidaridad, y la sabiduría ancestral y colectiva, podemos aliviarel aislamiento, encontrar fuerza y fomentar la resiliencia. En esta serie, compartiremos prácticas y herramientas para mantenernos sanosen nuestro Corazón, Mente, Cuerpo y Espíritu. ¡Únase a nosotros en este Círculo de Comunidad virtual a través de Zoom! Community Peer Program
Are you open to a peer relationship and focused on wellness and recovery? Join the
Community Peer Program to gain support and independence! This program is designed
for individuals living with a mental health condition in Santa Clara County who seek
to enhance their mental wellness through peer mentorship.
This program is for you if you:
- Live in Santa Clara County
- Want to thrive outside a hospital environment
- Wish to be intentional about your future choices
- Want to learn to manage your symptoms
- Want to develop good coping strategies
- Wish to learn from others living with mental health conditions
- Want to find hope
Please note that our mentors are also working on their wellness, and this program is not intended as a daily conversation partner or caregiver respite service.

Creative Expressions Group

- Meets on Tuesdays ( 1/6/26- 3/17/26)
- 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Location: RSS Bldg. Second floor, Room 202
Join this supportive environment to build resilience and develop coping skills for anxiety and depression. The group focuses on helping participants practice and enhance emotional expression through various creative forms (art, music, and movement). Topics include academic stress, anxiety, culture, depression, future goals, family concerns, gender identity, life balance, loneliness, relationship stress, sexuality, and social anxiety. No prior experience is necessary! You'll meet with two lovely clinicians Carol & Carrie!
