Career Training for Unemployed
The Occupational Training Institute currently provides high-quality vocational training services for eligible clients referred by:
- Local Workforce Investment Act (WIA) agencies (One-stop centers), see below
- NAFTA/Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)/Trade Readjustment Allowances (TRA) representatives
- Private vocational rehabilitation service providers and workers compensation counselors
Through OTI, students are provided career and academic advisement and counseling, one-stop priority registration, accessible staff, industry expertise, and
access to the support needed to achieve their goals.

TYPE "De Anza" in the box and you will be taken to the programs offered by Foothill and De Anza Community Colleges.
Please contact OTI's Program Coordinator at 409.864.8869. We welcome your inquiries, and will be pleased to arrange a visit and tour of Foothill or De Anza College. We can also arrange for you to meet with a member of the department responsible for information about the program that you choose.
Orientations
Orientations are held every Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the OTI Office on De Anza College's Campus in the SEM Building on the west side of campus. To view the campus map, please check at http://deanza.edu/map/

These agencies offer a variety of employment services to the public. You may wish to contact one in your area to see if assistance is available to you in reaching your goal.
