Here's What You Can Learn
DMT 73B: Inventor (Beginning)
Course objectives
- Understand the basic menu structure and graphical user interface used within AutoDesk Inventor
- Apply simple and complex constrained 2D sketches to create solid features
- Construct 3D solid models from sketch geometry using extrusions, revolutions and sweeps
- Create part features such as holes, shells, fillets, chamfers, threads and drafts
- Construct and annotate layout drawings using ASME Y14.5 standards
- Build basic 3D assemblies with assembly constraints
- Layout 3D exploded assembly drawings with balloon labels and a BOM parts list
