In Memory of Omonike Weusi-Puryear

Dear De Anza Community,
It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of Omonike Weusi-Puryear, who served De Anza College for decades as a dedicated part-time faculty member in Communications and Ethnic Studies, and as a dedicated Faculty Association representative. Mrs. Weusi-Puryear passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 86.
