    Public Comments

    • Shiqi: If you were an active volunteer during homecoming, feel free to introduce yourself. The Homecoming football game is this Saturday. We will send out volunteer sheets soon. If you would like to run for senator position or run for my position (Exec + Trustee), the application will be open in the winter quarter, and you will have the opportunity to earn a scholarship. Info session will be November 13 tomorrow from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. We have another on thursday, November 14 from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM. If you would like to run for a position, it is required to attend at least one session. The Mini-Flea Market is next Tuesday in the Main Quad.

    Advisor Announcements

    • Dayna: The dance was amazing! There was a great turnout of volunteers and attendees. Looking forward to the homecoming game.
    • Maritza: Activities start at 12:00 PM for the game. We will likely have 45 minutes to wrap it up so we would like volunteers before 12:00 PM. There are still things we need to clean up. Going into the game, if anyone incurs expenses, please let me know because we ended up having a clear understanding of the budget remaining. All of the supplies were purchased by me and Dayna from my knowledge. Eric purchased the desserts and Allison purchased decorations. If anyone else made expenses for the dance, let me know so that we can reimburse. I also need to know any additional swag I need to buy and how much is left to use for the game.

    Business Item 1

This item is to give an update about any flea market planning.

    Presenters: Anish, Rami

    • Rami: Please meet with me after the meeting if you are working on the donation or food truck task.
    • Anish: Mini-Flea Market volunteer sheet will be sent to the discord soon, so please be on the lookout for that.

    Title: Homecoming Recap

This item is to recap HOCO.

Presenters: Shiqi, Lauren, Jin Gi, All Intern

    • General Feedback
      • Shiqi: Thanks to everyone who participated. Open to suggestions for improvement on games, dance, music, and the DJ.
      • Lauren: Overall, the event was successful.
    • Comments and Suggestions
      • Atharva: Ensure more water is available next time.
      • Michael: Consider collaborating with Foothill College in the future.
      • Guest: Improve table coordination (e.g., M-Z table was missed, causing lines at A-L).
      • Kelvin: Increase marketing efforts with more posts and reels, starting at least 5 days before the event.
      • VJ: Marketing was effective within a short time, but more time should be allocated for promotion. Address DJ feedback: complaints about song choices and durations.
    • Future Improvements
      • Collaboration:
        • Explore Foothill College involvement proactively to align budgets and funding requirements.
        • Host a joint planning meeting with all involved programs.
      • Logistics:

        • Ensure fire safety compliance, such as unblocking external entrances.

      • Raffle: Discuss what to do with unused prizes and tickets.
    • Key Takeaways
