Funding Welcome Day

This item is to discuss and possibly approve up to $13,000  (Food (4015)) to provide lunch for students and $1500 (Professional Services (5214)) Balloon arch and bouquets for welcome area. This if for Office of College Life to provide these items for Welcome Day. $14,500 Total.

Business Item 2

This item is to approve up to $3,000 for supplies (4010), $7000 for pormitional items (4013), $7000 for food (4015), $4000 for printing (4060), $9000 for Professional services, College Life Programming (40-56050). These funds would be used to provide programming out of the Office of College Life to enhance student engagement, connections, and greater involvement of student activities on campus. It will support traditional programming like doing a comprehensive Weeks of Welcome (WOW) during the beginning of each quarter especially the Fall, College Life Speaker Series, Leadership Certificate Workshops, Student Leadership Conference, Career related events, and large-scale campus community event that can be an annual traditional event
