About the Committee

Mission

To make recommendations concerning programs and resource allocation, including planning and evaluation processes, in relation to the College’s mission, equity plan, and institutional core competencies.  (adopted 1/31/2023)

This new committee was proposed by the Shared Governance Task Force in spring 2022, following a review conducted in 2021 and 2022. Initially known as the Program Allocation Committee, the newly renamed Resource Allocation and Program Planning (RAPP) committee will be consolidating work previously done by the Administrative, Instructional and Student Services planning and budget teams.

The committee meets weekly on Tuesdays from 10-11:25 a.m. in MLC 255 and via Zoom.

Training

RAPP Tri-Chairs conducted numerous trainings prior to the start of the fall term including a shared governance training for all members serving on committees, as well as an overview of RAPP process for RAPP members, department chairs, deans and managers who will engaged with RAPP, and budget and enrollment training for shared governance members and RAPP committee members.
