This Fall In the Museum
Facing Home: Nov. 1-Dec. 14
The 2023 fall exhibition explores the who, what and where that gives us a sense of home or refuge, and honors the passing of loved ones central to the concept of home.
First Thursdays
- Spoken word and open mic performances
- Live in the Euphrat on Nov. 2 and Dec. 7 – the first Thursday of each month – from 5:30-7 p.m.
The Euphrat is celebrating 15 years of First Thursday events. Join us this fall for an hour of spoken word and open mic performances, hosted by McTate Stroman II.
Our Nov. 2 featured guest will be Lacey Rochelle, a poet, author and therapeutic artist who addresses love, growth, healing and struggles within the Black experience. De Anza's Adriana Garcia will also present her poetry.
Arts and Schools
Euphrat programs include arts education and public art for the campus and community.
Staying Visible: Agnes Pelton
The Euphrat Museum of Art is proud to serve as the home for a collection of work by
the pioneering modernist painter Agnes Pelton, donated by her neighbors and friends,
Cornelia and Irving Sussman.
While the works are not currently on display, the Euphrat loans them for exhibition by other nonprofit educational institutions.
