CLASS CONFIRMATION & TRANSACTION RECEIPTS
Once you create your student profile and enroll in a course, you will receive confirmation and a receipt via email. You can also view the transaction receipt and class confirmation on our online registration system.
MATERIALS & BOOKS
Some classes may require additional materials and or books. Unless otherwise noted, students are responsible for acquiring all materials and or books required for the class.

CANCELED CLASSES
De Anza College Community Education reserves the right to change or combine courses, programs, presenters and locations. If we cancel a class, you will be notified no later than one business day prior to the start date via telephone or email. A full refund will be issued to your credit card within two weeks of the cancellation.
DROP & REFUND POLICY
If you need to withdraw from a class,
you must submit an email request to
the Community Education office at
least five business days prior to the first class. Holidays and weekends are not considered business days. No phone requests for refunds will be accepted.
A $15 processing fee per class will be deducted. Credit card refunds may take up to 30 working days to process. Please email communityeducation@deanza.edu to request a refund.
ELECTRONIC VOUCHERS: If you choose to receive an electronic voucher in lieu of refund, the $15 processing fee will be waived. Vouchers are good for one calendar year from the date of issue.
There are no refunds after the electronic voucher has been processed.
ABSENCES AND FEES: Refunds are not issued for absences nor prorated for late registration. Missed class meetings may not be made up in another class. In order to observe student privacy, online class sessions will not be recorded.
COURSE & PUBLICATION INFORMATION
De Anza College Community Education courses provide lifelong learning opportunities and local recreation. The Community Education Department has made every reasonable effort to ensure that the information in this catalog is accurate.
SIGN LANGUAGE SERVICES
De Anza College is committed to providing sign language interpreting and captioning services for Community Education courses whenever possible, through a partnership with De Anza’s Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services. Requests for interpreting services must be made 30 days in advance of a class starting date. Please email communityeducation@deanza.edu to request services.
