Are You Ready to Vote?

California will hold a statewide primary election  on June 5, 2018. Voters will be selecting candidates for Congress and the state Legislature, along with local and statewide offices, such as Governor.

  • Check your county elections office to see which offices or ballot measures are up for a vote in your jurisdiction.
  • The deadline to register is May 21. (You can register online.) After that, you can still register "conditionally" and cast a provisional ballot at your county elections office.
  • The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is May 29.
