All first-time De Anza intercollegiate athletes are required to take PE 99, a class which is designed to promote a successful student-athlete experience.

This course will include information and discussions on leadership, transfer eligibility, student success, student rights and responsibilities, violence prevention, and the current and historic portrayals of male and female identities in popular culture.
